Valeria Sanchez is a Mexican American multidisciplinary artist living in Houston, Texas. Her practice focuses on elements of pop culture and nostalgia to create unique and light-hearted illustrations. She has featured transmedia installations and other mediums in group exhibitions at the Museum of Human Achievement and Visual Arts Center, both in Austin, Texas. In 2024, she was awarded the Liu Shiming Arts Scholarship, making her the first ever reciepeint in The Univerity of Texas at Austin’s history.
